Sia by Josh Grayson

SiaSia by Josh Grayson
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

This is the story of Sia, a 17-year-old girl who wakes up on a park bench with no idea who she is. The book follows Sia as she struggles to first survive alone in the world and then later as she struggles to rediscover who she was. The only problem is she's not really sure she wants to be the girl she was.

This story was entertaining, but through the whole thing I kept expecting more. More what? Just more. I would have loved for the story to go more in depth with Sia and her struggles, both on the street and with her amnesia/rediscovering herself after she returns home. It's like everything was glossed over and we never really got the whole story. On the surface, I enjoyed the story, but by the end I just felt like something very critical to a great story was missing – character development and believable explanations for things to be specific.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
